Meg offers a solid legal background comprising over 10 years of legal experience, primarily practicing in real estate and family law. Meg was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2004 and the Ontario bar in 2007. She practiced in Ottawa until her return to Nova Scotia in April 2015. She has appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, Nova Scotia Provincial Court, the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, the Federal Court of Canada and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. She has volunteered on various boards and committees in support of the community. Meg’s approach to practice is client centred and she is attentive to all of her clients’ needs. She treats each client as an important individual rather than just a file number.
