Biography

Kelly is a member of Patterson Law’s Civil Litigation Group with her primary areas of practice being personal injury and property related disputes. Kelly is also a member of Patterson Law’s Residential Tenancies Law Group, assisting both landlords and tenants in rental property related disputes. Kelly is a strong and determined advocate for her clients. She approaches the practice of law with the understanding that every client’s situation is unique and often shaped by complex personal circumstances. By combining empathy with advocacy, Kelly is dedicated to fully understanding each client’s needs, priorities, and concerns. She strives to provide service which helps her clients to feel respected and supported throughout the legal process.

Born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Kelly obtained her Bachelor of Arts with an Honours in Philosophy and Minor in Sociology, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Saint Mary’s University. Kelly obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of New Brunswick. During her time in law school at the University of New Brunswick, Kelly volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and actively engaged with the local community, having volunteered with the Fredericton Legal Advice Clinic.

Outside of the office, Kelly enjoys keeping active at her local gym and spin studio, reading, and spending time with her dogs, Bethany and Koda. As a former competitive figure skater, Kelly understands the importance of hard work, dedication, and precision.
