Biography

Sara is a member of our Litigation group, where her practice focuses on estate litigation.

Prior to joining Paterson Law, Sara practiced at a prominent Toronto boutique firm where she advocated on behalf of clients on a broad range of estate litigation matters, including will challenges, will and trust interpretation, contentious passings of accounts, appointment and removal of trustees and guardians, guardianship applications, and power of attorney disputes.

She holds a Global Professional Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, with a focus on Canadian Common Law. Sara also earned a Bachelor of Laws with first-class honors from Queen’s University of Belfast. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Bishop’s University, majoring in Sociology, Criminology, Law, and Social Policy, where she received the University Prize in Sociology.

As a passionate advocate, Sara excels in providing creative solutions for her clients. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her cat, Munde and German Shepard, Bear.
