Kristen Stallard to receive the 2024-2025 Viscount Bennett Fellowship

In addition to being accepted into the LLM program at the University of Cambridge, Lawyer Kristen Stallard has now been selected by The Canadian Bar Association’s Fellowship Committee to receive the 2024-2025 Viscount Bennett Fellowship for her graduate legal studies.

Ottawa, June 3, 2024 – The Canadian Bar Association’s Fellowship Committee has selected Kristen Stallard to receive the 2024-2025 Viscount Bennett Fellowship for her graduate legal studies.
Kristen Stallard is a graduate of the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and is currently an associate lawyer with Patterson Law in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Fellowship will help support her graduate studies this fall at the University of Cambridge, where her work will focus on the role of constitutional design in advancing reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.
The Viscount Bennett Fellowship is awarded annually to a Canadian law student to encourage high standards of legal education, training and ethics. The Fellowship was established under the terms of a trust created by former Prime Minister and CBA President Viscount Richard Bedford Bennett. The first Fellowship was awarded in 1946.
