Clarence Beckett, QC awarded Lee Samis Award of Excellence

We are very proud to announce that Clarence A. Beckett Q.C. has been awarded the prestigious Lee Samis Award of Excellence by Canadian Defence Lawyers.  This award, named after the association’s founding president Lee Samis, is presented each year to a Canadian defense lawyer in recognition of exceptional contributions or achievements. 

Clary is being honoured at a luncheon on January 24 at the Marriott Harbourfront (11:30-2:00).  The event will also include presentations by notable Nova Scotia Judges, Justice Jamie W.S.
