Michael Scott named Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America

We are proud to announce that partner Michael P. Scott has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. The Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) is a peer-selected society of 3,500 of the best trial lawyers representing clients across North America and around the world.
As a senior litigation Partner at Patterson Law, Michael practices civil and criminal litigation. With unique experience in both areas, he is regularly called-upon to address civil matters that directly or indirectly include criminal law issues.
A graduate of Dalhousie University, Michael received his Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie Law School in 2009. Throughout his career, Scott has received numerous professional accolades. He has been named a “Litigation Star” by Benchmark Litigation Canada since 2016, and was recognized as a “Lawyer to Watch” in Commercial Litigation by the 2017 Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of lawyers in North America. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only.
