Patterson Law adds Lawyers in Truro and New Glasgow

Patterson Law is pleased to announce the addition of two accomplished lawyers to its growing team.  Karen Killawee joins the partnership and will work from Truro. Ellen Burke, a senior associate, will work from the New Glasgow office.

A Truro native, Karen has focused on family law and civil litigation for more than 15 years.  While a skilled litigator, Karen is also a fully trained collaborative lawyer and a qualified mediator, tools she uses to help clients navigate more smoothly and efficiently through separation and divorce. Her professional talent tells only part of her story. Karen is active in her community, sitting on the Board of Directors of the Dismas Society and Admissions Committee for Lavers House.

Ellen returns to Patterson Law, bringing an established reputation in family law and civil litigation. She will bring her energy and smarts to Patterson Law’s newest office. Her enthusiasm and dedication extends to her community work.  Ellen is an investment committee member with CBDC – Northern Opportunities for Business Limited, and is a proud “Big Sister” with Big Brothers Big Sisters Canada.
