Patterson Law adds Two Top Tier Associates

Corporate/commercial and commercial litigation clients benefit most from lawyers who understand the whole client picture. Patterson Law has built a team of lawyers with backgrounds that help clients with the whole business in mind, not just the legal matter at hand. Patterson Law is welcoming two top tier associates to its ranks.
Kyle MacMullin will focus principally on tax work. “Kyle is already an experienced CPA,” says Kate Harris, QC, and tax group practice head. “He will bring his experience and talent for analysis, problem solving and risk management to our team.”
Anna-Marie Manley will focus on commercial litigation. ”Anna-Marie has a sharp mind, and a track record for taking the road less travelled. Problem-solving and seeing what others miss is key to commercial litigation,” says Rob Pineo, group head for the Commercial Litigation group. Anna-Marie previously worked at McCarthy Tetrault, one of Canada’s top law firms.
Building a team that understands the whole business and the context for decision-making is necessary to provide the best corporate commercial legal services, according to George White, the firm’s managing partner. “We have a mix of backgrounds that have proven exceptionally relevant to our clients. It means our clients get stronger problem-solving in their legal matters.” Lawyer backgrounds and unique training include chartered accounting, municipal policy, planning and decision-making, web-based business operations, international management and operations, mathematical modelling, oceanography and environmental law.
