Welcome Three New Associates

Grace MacCormick, Jennifer Singh and Paul Wadden will be joining Patterson Law as associates this June. They are expected to fit well into Patterson Law’s problem-solving culture.

The three new associates are not strangers to high stakes. Whether it is their advocacy work for immigrants, experience with human rights organizations or advocating on behalf of women navigating the justice system, Patterson Law’s new associates understand the weight an effective lawyer must carry for clients.
Grace will be joining Patterson Law’s litigation teams in the areas of estate, civil and commercial litigation. She will draw on her experience advocating on behalf of immigrants with the Immigration Services Association of Nova Scotia, and working with women in conflict with the law as a volunteer with the Canadian Association of Elizabeth Fry Societies.
Jennifer will pursue a mixed practice of civil litigation, property disputes and elder law. She has worked with Prince Edward Island’s Human Rights and Regulatory and Appeals Committees, giving her a firm understanding of complex areas of law.
Paul will be joining the firm’s commercial litigation team. His experience as a legal intern for an engineering firm and his time with both Dalhousie Legal Aid and Schulich School of Law Pro Bono Students Canada will be an asset as he litigates on behalf of commercial clients.
